[Pillow Boy and The Razors]

Addicting

I have no problems with these games, infact I love these games! <3

The concept behind the game is funny and as I was playing this I had a big grin because of the many jokes that go with razors.
The gameplay was good and I noticed if you hold the spacebar you get a larger jump. =D

Just a suggestion:
When you have the platforms dissapearing just a split second before it happens have them kinda fade out to give some warning?

Anyway a bunch of fun games and I enjoyed them all, great work man! 4/5.

[School Fighter]

Not too good

As a first impression I thought this would be an awesome game, something I could play today and then want to return and play tommorow.

Then main menu looked very professional the buttons were very easy to click and it just had that style to it that made me think this would be an excellent game.

I was a little dissapointed, the controls were terrible and didn't react fast enough and alot of inconvienant things I didn't like.
For one thing I didn't like how you had to release all the other buttons to attack or even move. I'm no flash animator myself so I don't know how to fix it but I found it quite annoying and almost unbearable.
Another thing is the computer hardly attacks back and it's just too easy but takes along time to finally beat the guy. As I'm writing this review right now I left the game on and my guy is still alive. I dunno but games that are too easy and repetitive arn't very fun.

The music was good, it sorta had the 'street' feel to it that fits a fighting game very well so bravo in that area. =D

The drawings were very well done and the shading looked great adding to it's detail but the animation just wasn't at the same level.
It just didn't look realistic, when some punched their arm would become noticeably wider and when the characters were walking the legs weren't even touching the ground.

Anyway, this had all the bells and whistles but the main purpose wasn't there, it needs better gameplay. 2/5.

Yeh thanks, I am very disappointed with this game, unfortunately i spent too much time on all the attacks. I might make another one but next time im not going to focus so much on having so many attacks for each character but rather work on getting much more quality. I will keep such things as the menu and everything but it just needs so much work. This was my first attempt at a really big game but i of course failed. I have much better games in the making to come though.

[how to make a game!]

Simple

This would be perfect for someone who just got flash. (like me) =P

Anyway the pace of this was really patient and the 'click to continue' style was really good to give more time to let the info sink in.

HOWEVER I think it would been a good idea to add a button to go back a few steps without having to re-play the whole tutorial... don't let it be like this, change it today this tutorial is really helpful but inconvienant.

heh, you reviewed both of my movies at liike the same time! anyway i lost the .fla file for it and i have tried the flash decompiler but it just sqrewes it all up, someday i will make another one and replace this one.

A good demo...

If this is the demo I can't wait to see what it's gonna look like when it's finished!
7 pages of explainations and then a few extra features made this all look great, this here could be the 'all everything' tutorial.

Just a suggestion:
Show some pictures of what your talking about and a little more in depth.
For example when you were explaining how to make a button you wrote "create a movie clip and enter this code:" Maybe with a picture or a SHORT small animation in the corner showing a mouse going up to the top bar and clicking everything it has to it would also help the true beginners, yanno?

Anyway as I said before this is good as it is and because this is just the demo I am very impressed. I'll be sure to review it when it's finished and best of luck!

thankyou! yes yes i should put in more pics, but without the pics in this demo its filesize would be like 100kb anyway i will try, as for the 7 pages thing, i am hoping to like tripple all the information i have got, like solving syntax errors and those hittest scripts that every one asks for on the bbs, thanks for your great review, major punk!

It was a bit funny, like personally I liked the song. Did you do that yourself?... sounded like you did. ^_~

So the drawings were pretty poor and I thought you could've added some more colours but that's not really important.

Easy to click buttons and some quick fun interactive stuff, I hope your Dad enjoys this because I thought it was pretty cool. 3/5. ^_^

Interesting...

This is much better then I initailly thought it would be. I'm impressed that you managed to put all these activites in such a small filesize. =)

Personally I thought the "Body Parts Find" was pretty cool and unique, but a little difficult so maybe adding an option so you could click for a picture of what Cartman is supposed to look like just to make it less frustrating if someone gets really stuck.

And frustrated viewers usually don't give high votes. =P

Overall this is a good compact flash full of games. Good job! 3/5.

[Finding (N)emo]

An alright simple game

Everything was working fine, no glitches that I could fine and had all the basic components of a good game but one thing... way too hard.

For me the game only lasted about 15 seconds (at best) and it's really hard to enjoy a game when by the time you make the switch from mouse to arrow keys the games over. =(

I'd strongly recommend making this easier, by for example slowing the fish down, shrinking them, shrinking the head or just have less fish come at once yanno?

Anyway other then that it was alright game, after I few tries I got a bit better and to level 2 but you and I know both know very few users have the patience to 'get better' so maybe making the first level VERY easy just so the player can get the hang of the game a bit better.

There was obvious effort put into this game though so it would be wrong of me to give it a low score so i gave it a 3, well done and keep working at it. Now to review your other flash, check it. =)

Alright re-make

Since I already played the original this wasn't realy all that fun new or exciting. =/
It was still alright though with the new characters like madness, orangeclock and the Fifen icons.

Usually re-makes are made because an author thinks they can do it better then it was before with a few changes but I think the original was still better because everything then was new, sorry.

[UFO Short Game]

Fun platform game

This is definately unique, I've never even thought of a UFO trying to jump from building to buillding but whatever it's fun.

The song was alright but it's not a long enough loop and gets repetitive very fast, like after I noticed it it started to annoy me.

Anyway overall its a fun game with a good variety of levels, good work.

Good collection =)

Ahh, all the famous movie quotes of the past 30 or so years. Great idea.

It looked a little unorganized like in some rows you had 3 pictures but others just one, not a big deal but whatever.

The selection was a little dissapointing but I hear your coming out with a new one with 50 soon. Awesome, I'll be sure to review it also when it comes out. =)
