Addicting! ^_^

This game was pretty cool, a simple easy to learn game that really doesn't need much instruction.

I think it would be a good idea to have some small platforms scattered about. So like the character could hop from platfrom to platform to give it more of 3D feel instead of just left/right.

Or maybe a cool death cinematic when he gets hit by the falling ice.

Anyway overall I enjoyed this, it gets ridiculously difficult right around 1000 and I'm yet to break that mark. 4/5. =)

Thanks for the review! <3

Awesome

This is really good, looked very neat and professional.

For my computer it was VERY laggy, so I had to toggle the quality myself not really a big deal but if you find alot of people doing this is might be a good idea for your next flash to keep it more simple.

This is a very good game, detailed backgrounds and unpredictable enemies along with an straight forward goal: Get the stars. =)

Anyway like all of your flash I am very pleased. Keep up the great work!

The game runs perfectly on any machine running 512mb or higher...sorry for any lagging...I am trying to alter or improve the code so it runs more smoothly... I learned a great deal in making this game, you can definately expect a much better one next time around, thanks for the words of encouragement, it means a lot...

f0x...

Great tutorial.

You went above and beyond on this paying attention to even the smallest details, you even taught me a few things I never knew "pumps" shot multiple bullets.

I liked the soundtrack you picked and to make it even better you gave us the option to tweak the volume or mute it.

I appreciate you using a black background and white text because always with a bright background after alot of reading it hurts the eyes and nobody wants that.

The forward AND back buttons are a really good feature, allows the viewers to take as much time as they need and go back if they missed something.

Anyway best of luck to you and hopefully you continue to submit flash to NG. Great job.

scrimpy responds:

Thank you.

I'm working on Gun Tutorial 2
I need the reviews to make it better than this one

It's ok.

It took me quite a bit of time to find the stop button, maybe if you used a really obvious outline it would be easier to notice.

The sounds were pretty funny but there wasnt much variety, sure it was fun for maybe a minute but after that there was really nothing else to do.

Anyway your more recent soundboards are much better so hopefully you dont rollback the clock but instead continue to improve. All it takes is an idea.

FattyWhale responds:

Yeah, I wasn't real proud of this one, mostly because of the lack of sounds I could find. Maybe if I'm bored one day I will download a few episodes and rip the sound myself

hehehe... beautiful.

An old cranky mother, a perfect person to create a soundboard for.

I liked the little biography you did during the pre-loader. Its sets the stage and builds anticipation.

Great selection 63 different sounds. Impressive I must say.
Large buttons, large text to just make it simple and so you click the button on the first try. A black background very easy on the eyes.

Great job with this soundboard best yet.

FattyWhale responds:

thanks, I agree this is my best work as of yet.

Good.

I think this one is the best so far, the background is just one of those things that make this soundboard more visually appealing.

I had fun playing around with this one, but I prefer when you have a box around the text though.

On one of the buttons theres a little switch needed because where it says "every nook and cranny" it says "hand of my turkey jerky which is the link below. But thats all I could find.

Anyway this was good and is fun to just mess around with.

FattyWhale responds:

thanks, i'll keep in mind about the buttons

Not bad

This wasnt very creative but it sure is funny, the "alphabet song" in my opinion is the best.
The sound quality was good and the selection was very small for 3 seperate characters. We need more!

FattyWhale responds:

thanks, sounds weren't as easy to find as you'd think though!

It was alright

Im not impressed or anything but to me this is just average.

The selection was very limited for most of the characters and selection is one of the most important things. But for Spongebob it was very good.

The sound quality was good, not scratchy at all and easy to listen to.

Easy to click the buttons and simple navigation. Able to get from point A to point B in a snap.

Good work wioth this and I hope you ontinue working with flash.

FattyWhale responds:

making another this saturday hopefully :D

Above average dress-up game

I liked the music alot! and the choice of what track you wanted to listen to is really one of those things that requires little work compared to how much it boosts your score. = )

Alot of variety of clothing, weapons and even hats. Thats good but the joint really isnt as funny as it used to be. Its really getting overused.

I liked the custom cursor you allowed us to use, added that *extra touch* to the scenery.

It did seem a little messy to me though it just seemed there were clothes etc scattered everywhere across the screen and you might want to consider having so that (for example) if you click the "weapons" text at the top it can hide all of the weapons so that there out of the way for when your doing other things. yanno?

Anyway Best of luck to you and maybe I can see some more flash from you soon. = )
3/5

KungFuCow responds:

Yeah, I guess it was a tad messy. When I have time or when im not lazy, I'l fix that up.

Thanks for the review! I'l be sure to make more flashes in the future (possibly the near future).

Fun game, Horrible Sound.

I liked the gameplay and the controls were smooth requires timing and such.
Im sure youve already heard alot of this but the sound keeps looping.
I think you should re-submit it.

Also in the first screen you called it "Rudolf The Red-Arsed Reindeer" and in the instuctions you called it " Santa and Rudolph decided" Now I have no idea how you spell his name but its just something I noticed.

Kirk-Cocaine responds:

lol, I've just sorted the sound so it should be fine, I wont resubmit because it still scoring decently! :D

I'm pretty sure it spelt Rudolph but I thought I better cover all the bases! :P

Rest In Peace.
