Woah! This was awesome.

My favourite of the 4 was the platformer game. I think that alone would have been an very good submission, and I love strategy games. ^_^

The shooter game was really cool, I can see alot of potential with that, like maybe some sort of army/war game where you have to shoot all the invading enemy troops or soething, I dunno.

I see you already finished your mouse game and submitted it, nice.

The zelda style puzzle game I thought was alright but if someone ever gets too stuck, game over no fun. SO a suggestion would be to have a h\time limit and each 'tip/hint' could cost you a certain amount of time yanno?

Anyway congrats on underdog and keep up the good work! 4/5.

Haha, you dug it up and found it eh? :)

Platformer game... I've kind of lost intrest in that one. Although I may come back, nothing is perminent for me.

Yeah. Shooter is comming along just fine. My arteest has gone on a week long holiday, though. (Thats why I got to finish up mousegame in the first place)

Yeah, I did finish mousegame. Thats how you found this right? ;)

Hmm... Hey, that is a good idea. Im thinking of totally redoing zelda style game with new graphics and ideas, but the tip system would be a great help.

Thanks a lot!

Awesome game, I must say

Theres alot of games like this but yours was very unique, I especially liked the 3rd level where you had to change your color to pass through the gates. Nice ^_^

Each level was something new and I really liked that, no repetitiveness in this (yay).

Anyway I really enjoyed this game overall, welldone. 4/5. =)

Thanks for the review, I really appreciate it. :)

More then just a tutorial.

First off, the pre-loader picture... sweet.

Ok so this was exactly what I look for in tutorials, authors who went above and beyond, by adding the history of guns and basically how they work.

The most interesting part I found was the 'Muzzle Flashes' I had no idea they were so complicated and could look so... good. ^_^

Anyway overall this tutorial is better then the first, I think it's safe to say this is the best gun tutorial on NG that I've seen so far. 5/5.

scrimpy responds:

The preloader picture? I've put almost all gun models I had together, added a frame and it was done.

Thank you

Cool game ^_^

What's more stress relieving then shooting deer off snowmobiles? =P

Nah but I really enjoyed this, a nice relaxing atmospehere and easy game controls and straight forward insturctions. adding quotes from the actual family guy episode when Peter took Chris hunting was a great touch to. =)

Great work on this overall, a fun game without a doubt. 5/5. best of luck

TomTheBanisher responds:

Alright thanks a lot man. Well it relieves my stress =)

Good light hearted game. =)

Although not your best game from what I've seen from you so far it's still pretty good.

It seemed to be too simple, like there was was some details missing. For example a think it would of been a good idea to add a few waves to make the water appear ... more like water.
Hell all you had to do was stick a pair of wings on the boat and I would be convinced I was saving people falling from the blue sky. =P

The old school batman music was a great idea, that alone added the light heartedness (real word?).

I can already see a pattern from your submissions, you seem to like the early type of arcade games I see, hah nice. 4/5. =)
Oh btw my final score was 4180 after a few tries. ^_^

MilkshakeClock responds:

My artist friend was too lazy to do real water. He put no effort into the game :P

I love the old school games. Pacman, dig dug, galaxian, asteroids, they're all awesome.

Kickass game!

I thought everything about this was great the artwork, shading, controls, story, music. EVERYTHING!

What i really like about this is how it actually takes streategy and not just rapidly pressing buttons because you really need those strong attacks if your ever gonna kill a zombie.

ahh, this really captures the imagination and puts you in the zone. awesome work on this. 5/5!

Thanks for the review!

Sometimes I wonder if this might have done better if it had a simpler button bashing system.

A sequel is still on the cards, got a couple of other projects to do first though.

Awesome, I had lots of fun with that.

A great re-make of the original asteroids, with improved controls, graphics, music and ofcourse all those nifty features you added such as "health" and "fps". Nice.

Suggestions:

A pause button: While playing this I actually had to get up to answer natures call but I didn't want to just leave myself out in the open with tons of asteroids dlying around which as you might imagine made it very uncomfortable and not as enjoyable.

And, while I was holding down the spacebar to shoot, I noticed I could not turn whatsoever and I would have to release the spacebar to turn and if I didn't it would make that annoying *beeeeeeeeeeep* sound on my computer.

Overall I though this was well done. The main menu looked very professional and this game as a whole was very organized. Great job!

Blaze responds:

Thanks, music credits go to SolesLunes, for this awesome piece. The Health was my idea, FPS's was Ninja Chickens.

A pause button, i wanted to implement that. As well as a small fire coming in the back of the ship (which i DID do), but Ninja Chicken said he was really tired, and let me submit as it is. I know how it feels to have this game without a pause button, i do. Its annoying.

Well, yes. Its... some sort of error that Windows has (i think), it wont let you press a certain ammount of keys at the same time, or it may, but not SOME keys. Which makes the annoying beep, and sometimes the blue screen of death.

Thanks! I specially overdid everything in the menu, i love how it turned out and the theme colors are just sweet. Thanks for the review, expect another one next week!

Challenging!

I thought this was really fun, easy control and easy to move.

But I thought it took far too long for the screen to catch up, like I would hold an arrow key and then have to stop because my green dot has left the screen yanno?

Anyway other then that it was really fun, great work on this man! 3/5.

PCpr0gramer responds:

thank you very much. Sunday i promise a fix on the camera. Along w/ a new level =-]

Good Sequel

Same format from your first one I see, not a bad idea but I was kinda hoping for something new to spice it up.

And the questions I thought were considerabley harder then your first one, I only got about 1/4 correct and I thought I was a fairly big Family Guy fan myself so I'm curious to see what the questions will be like on the 'difficult' quiz. *dun dun dun* =P

I had fun with this, the pictures were a good touch, added more of a visual appeal.

If I can make a suggestion how about a little *bleep* noise when the player clicks the button, to me it would make it seem more professional and with all the dull minds here on NG that simple feature just might boost your score yanno?

Overall it was alright, a good quiz game. 3/5.

WuTangFinancial responds:

hmm, ill look for some sounds like that, lol i like that idea

Sweet game.

This is really fun, seriously I love it. =)

At first I found it extremely difficult and complicated but as I got settled in I seemed to of developed to some strategies which helped out.

Great music, grpahics, easy to click buttons and helpful buttons to click at any time if anyone is ever confused. THE COMPLETE PACKAGE.

Anyway great job on this. Best of luck on some portal awards and maybe even frontpage? 5/5. *adds to favourites8

ChromeShark responds:

:D Thanks for the great review.

Rest In Peace.
