Truly impressive!

This was great, awesome drawings, music and ofcourse storyline.

Ofcourse it always begins with the angry jealous neighbour who is unhappy because of his lack of successs in life and combined with the building music I could only feel it was gonna get good, REAL GOOD. ^_^

Then ofcourse it has to end with the angst artist losing his hands bacuse of his own statue, hah. This flash even contained a hidden lesson. ^_^

This flash has had so much success I think, because it's so realistic. Like evryone who has watched this in the past can really relate to what's happening and can only dream that they too can become super successful while hurting the competition.

Anyway overall I thought this was amazing and attention grabbing, awesome work man and best of luck to you. 5/5

An alright sprite animation

The backgrounds looked nice and detailed and as Ness walked it kinda looked realistic, err as realistic as it's can ever get.

The storyline seemed to be a little lacking though, like it seemed things were happening for no reason and without adding to the story.

The one part I got a little chuckle from was where the monty python foot 'pancaked' Ness, it was pretty funny but other then that it was a little dull. I have never played any of Ness's games (other then SSB) so maybe it was a bit of a parody but I dunno.

Overall I thought it was an ok flash but with maybe a little more time planning ahead of time I think this could be much better.

FattyWhale responds:

Thanks for the review. I'll admit this could use some work, and at the end I kind of lost interest in making this movie so that is why I just ended it so abrubtly.

I really enjoyed this

Those simple sounds and drawings really takes me back to the good ol days of super nintendo. ^_^

This whole animation was just fun, light hearted and relaxing.
I'm not even a star wars fanatic and thought this was cool, although it did seem to end suddenly =/

Anyway bottom line, I liked this. ^_^

Funny story...

Fuck! If haven't noticed yet I accidently reviewed the wrong submission for your "667 Trailer" and meant to review this submission of "Hitcat" I'm very sorry it was a huge mistake on my part sorry about that. ;_;

So anyway I guess I'm gonna say my comments for your "667 trailer" here then, fuck sorry man.

---------

Ok so for 667 trailer:
I thought the music was great, combined with the low quality pics of a large city during the night it really enhanced the night-life, mafia feeling.

Then it breaks out into a shootout and man did it look nice. =)
You know a trailer did it's job when the audience adds you to their favourites just so they can track you down and watch it as soon as it comes out. ^_-

Again sorry for the review mix-up. Damn.

Erikcq responds:

Hey, no problem about the review mix up. Hahaha.
Thanks for your review man, you're a nice 'reviewer' :D

LOL

Dude you have a creative mind, that's the first time I've ever seen someone even attempt to make a story out of all of those famous pics but not only did you make a story... but you made it well.

The beginning was the best part, full of action and very funny. But at the end where it showed the cat on the couch it started to lose it, it got boring quick.

The best part I thought was when it showed the close up of the cat 'screaming' "Noooooooo" haha! ^_^

Anyway good work overall, good jokes.

Erikcq responds:

Hahaha, you're reveiwing my other submission "Hitcat"... In the wrong place. Anyways, thanks a lot.

Better then your then your previous. ^_^

The peom during the pre-loader was a great touch, it sets the stage well.

I liked this one more because it had more detail and action, also I thought the slow motion parts were sweet like when the guy was swinging and you could see the wall behind he being shot up with bulletes. ^_^

There were some very unrelistic parts I didn't like either, for example what the previous reviewer mentioned. And when the guy did get shot he fell a long way down but wasn't hurt at all and actually did a backflip to get up, I dunno just thought it was weird. =/

BTW the re-play button didn't work for me, I had to do the 'ol rightclick+play thing.

Erikcq responds:

Thanks a lot! The 'poem' it's a piece from Metallica's song "Enter Sandman".
I cheked the replay button thing... I'll have to fix that,
Thanks again.

Not bad

I kina liked this, there were some interesting fight scenes and lots of good exploding scenery and realistic crisp sounds. -)

But only having one camera angle was a bit of a drag, I'd like to see more variety in what's happening and you showed that a little by going from guns to super powers. heh.

Erikcq responds:

Thanks a lot.

Erikcq

That so was cool

That was definately interesting, like it's not like every submission has those 3D twists that you put in.
The fight scenes were pretty nifty, I especially liked it when the two circles were falling from the building and both pulled out guns (haha). ^_^

For when the two circles were talking to each other at the very beginning I think adding subtitles would of been a good idea, like just some temporary ones for only those few lines, yanno?

The little features you added at the top was good, but I think it took up a little too much space, if you really want to make it space saving then ...*tries to remember name* but like have it so you have to hover your mouse at the top for the quality and volumne options to appear, yanno?

Anyway overall, I enjoyed this. Good music and a few funny parts. Well done. 4/5. =)

lightningbomb responds:

thanks for the tips! i'm glad you liked it!

Strangely entertaining. ^_^

The music was great, I don't know if this would fit under a music video or not but holding ties between lyrics and what was happening was a great idea. ("Bang Bang!" *someone gets shot*)

A re-play button would of been a good idea, like if you don't know how to make one yourself I'd advise asking for some help in the forums. It's not difficult honestly, you could have it in your flash in about 5 minutes and re-play are one of those things that take little effort but boost your score incredibely. yanno?

I noticed as the flash went on it seemed to well... get better.
Must be since you were getting more experience with flash but it's really a disadvantage for you because we both know many users just watch the first 15 seconds and decide how to vote after that. So really I'd say the score you currently have is less then what you should have since most of the best stuff (in my opinion) is at the end. =/

Using too many "real" pictures is (in my opnion) a bad thing, especially if it's unnessecary. So try to avoid that.

I guess this had some storyline to it but it is EXTREMELY vague, it was around my 5th time watching this before I understood it was furby trying to get revenge against Fry because of his mexican friends murder.

I think?

My favourite part personally was when Furby was making his final chase after Fry and the were running up the stairs and ontop the rooftop while Fry was making pretty funny dodgeing while you transformed his picture (haha) ^_^

Overall it was OK, alot of room for improvement but you showed ALOT of effort in this and have a bright future with flash so I have to reward you suitably. Well done my man. 5/5.

UberAoC responds:

Definitely no music video! I heard the song and BOOM. Completely random idea that had to happen.

The replay button IS easy to make; if my score gets a little higher and it gets more requests, I'll most likely add one. Didn't know that something as simple as a "click and play" button would affect the score at all...

With the transition between bad and "better"; I almost completely dropped the idea, but then one day I decided to finish it. Everything after the second death was done much later than the beginning. I am WAY better at flash now, but I wanted to keep the consistency, you know?

Actually, a storyline was never intended! I looked at it afterwards and the only storyline I formulated was from observation, thus the vagueness. You got it right, though!

Thanks for the excellent and well thought out review! I hope that I can get more viewers like you in the future!

I love it

That was so cool, the way he walked, the way he killed everyone. Sweet.

Mindless killing flashes like this are always a favourite for me. Great variety of backgrounds and the the sounds you used were crisp and really enhanced the feeling this gave off. =D

Overall I really enjoyed this, keep up the good work and I hope the 3rd comes out soon, I'll be sure to review it also. 4/5. =)

Rest In Peace.
